چکیده
Abstract: Identification of high-risk subjects is crucial in prevention coronary heart disease. Ear lobe crease and forehead wrinkles are easily identifiable physical signs that could potentially be an indicator artery lesion severity. This study aimed to determine the relationship between earlobe morphology with severity stenosis patients stable angina pectoris using modified Gensini score. was observational a cross-sectional approach. All who met inclusion criteria were taken photos their area both right left ears. Assessment scores correlation analysis assessment modification later done. The results showed from total 40 subjects, 28 (70%) male. Forehead wrinkle mainly classified into score 1 2, totalling 32 (80%) patients. Earlobe form dominated by type A (65% vs 35%). Patients B on average have value 9 points lower than (reference) (p <0.001). As for non-zero scores, it clearly 4−5 units greater those zero However, sample size indeed too small (n=3) make difference meaningful (p=0.507). In conclusion, there significant positive identification but no strong pectoris, this case score.Keywords: angina; crease; wrinkles;

Objectives: Diagonal ear lobe crease (ELC) has been introduced as a diagnostic physical sign for coronary artery disease (CAD) and the aim of this study was to evaluate the association between ELC and CAD in Iranians. Methodology: In a crosssectional study, 106 consecutive patients, referred from cardiologists for angiography, were studied for presence of ELC and CAD in four academic hospitals ...
متن کاملComparison between Revascularization and Optimal Medical Therapy in Patients with Stable Angina Pectoris
Background and Purpose: Regarding usefulness of revascularization versus optimal medical therapy in patients with stable angina pectoris, data are challenging. The aim of this 12-month follow-up study was to compare the survival benefit associated with revascularization versus optimal medical therapy on the patients with stable angina pectoris. Materials and Methods: A prospective clinical s...

متن کاملMorphologic correlation between atherosclerotic lesions of the carotid and coronary arteries in patients with angina pectoris.
The morphology of atherosclerosis between the carotid and coronary artery systems was studied in 63 patients with ischemic heart disease to determine if there was a correlation with coronary heart disease. The sclerotic lesions of the carotid and coronary artery systems were imaged with ultrasonography and coronary arteriography, respectively, and divided into 4 types. Hemodynamic variables, se...
